Here you will find an overview of grants currently available. All programmes have specific guidelines and applications forms which you can download below. Please do not forget to read the important information for applicants

Deptford Challenge Trust - Small Grants
Purpose: To improve the quality of life for people who live and work in Deptford. Proposed activites must benefit residents within the DCT area (please see map before you apply). Grants of between £500 and £5,000 are available. In particular the trustees encourage applications for projects that respond to a local need and promote networking and local partnerships. Previous grantees are welcome to apply, but priority will be given to new applicants.

Closing dates: Small grants are available on an annual basis. 2008 grants have now been awarded. We hope to relaunch the fund in autumn 2008 for grants in 2009.

Grants between £5,000 and £30,000 per year are available and the trustees will now consider funding over more than one year. Please be aware the Trust will only be able to make one or two multiple year grants. DCT Strategic Guidelines
DCT Strategic Organisation Form

Deutsche Bank Employee Fund for Education and Social Invesment in London
Purpose: To support groups working under the themes of Education and Community Development. Please read the guidelines very carefully before applying.
Areas: All Boroughs
Closing dates: You can apply any time until 31 January 2009. Decisions are made quarterly; organisations will be notified of the outcome of their application in December and March (depending on when submitted).

Notes: If you would like to apply to this fund please call the office and speak to Cat Dix about your project. An application form will then be sent to you.
Grassroots Grants
Purpose: To help build thriving local communities, bringing people from different backgrounds together and empowering them to achieve change. You can apply for up to £5,000. Your group must have been active in your local area for at least 1 year before you apply, with an annual income of less than £20,000. This can relate to your last financial year or be taken as an average over your last three financial years.
Areas: Bexley, Bromley, Camden, Greenwich, Kensington and Chelsea, Lambeth, Lewisham, Southwark, Westminster
Closing dates: This is a three year programme. The next deadline is 7th November. 2009 dates to be announced shortly .

Land Securities Capital Commitment Fund
Purpose: To turn ideas into reality through effective and dynamic community projects. The Capital Commitment Fund finances a wide range of projects including dance workshops for teenagers, children's sports clubs and a local history group. Priority will go to projects focused on children, young people and education.
Areas: Islington, Southwark, Tower Hamlets, Westminster
